Civil rights icon Angela Davis visits the museum

Last Thursday, October 10th, the American scholar, author and black activist Angela Davis was in Vienna to give a lecture at the University of Vienna; she also visited the Kunsthistorisches Museum where director-general Sabine Haag welcomed her warmly. Angela Davis toured the Picture Gallery and was deeply impressed by the many Old Masters on show there.
