Preview & Gala – Renaissance Modern

March 15, 2024

On March 15, 2024, as part of the exhibition Holbein. Burgkmair. Dürer. Renaissance in the North a major fundraising gala will take place. A very special evening awaits our guests in the unique atmosphere of the Kunsthistorisches Museum!

Under the motto Renaissance Modern you will enjoy a varied program with an exclusive preview of the exhibition, culinary delights, live music and much more.

About the evening program:

18:30     Admission and registration in the vestibule

You and your guests will be welcomed by our colleagues in the vestibule of the museum and taken directly to the domed hall on the second floor, where we will serve you a signature cocktail to bring the evening into harmony. Of course, the musical accompaniment should not be missing for the enjoyment of all the senses: our live band, the Jazzophoniker, will delight you with a musical interlude right at the cocktail.

19:15     Welcome by General Director Sabine Haag and introduction to the exhibition by curator Guido Messling

After some refreshments, we will start the welcoming ceremony: General Director Sabine Haag will welcome you and your guests personally; Dr. Guido Messling, curator of the exhibition, will give an introduction to the special show.

19:30     Preview of the exhibition

You will then be guided into the exhibition by our art education team and will be the first visitors to have the opportunity to view Renaissance art from a new perspective in an exclusive setting. Meanwhile, other stations of our entertainment program are also open, so you can, for example, have your portrait drawn by a live artist or use a photo box for a successful souvenir of the evening.

20:15     Flying Dinner

Back in the Kuppelhalle, the culinary highlight of the evening awaits you. Our catering team will spoil you with all kinds of delicacies. The flying dinner format gives you and your guests the perfect opportunity to exchange ideas and engage in stimulating conversations in an atmospheric setting.

20:30     Dessert & accompanying program

Round off the evening with a sumptuous Renaissance-style dessert buffet and exquisite drinks. We also invite you to take advantage of our supporting program and take home souvenirs of the event.
