Curator's Tour: Daniel Neuberger and the Art of Deception

Join us to discover the masterpieces of Daniel Neuberger, an important 17th century artist who was active at the Viennese imperial court and excelled in wax bossing. Two of his major works have recently been extensively restored in the Kunstkammer of the Kunsthistorisches Museum and are now at the centre of this exhibition. By bringing together aspects of the humanities, conservation science, art history, and technology, this exhibition conveys the paradigmatic pillars of museum work today.

As part of an exclusive library tour, Hanna Schneck, Head of the KHM Library, and Konrad Schlegel, Curator of Early Modern Sculpture and Sculpture, will present historical works from the book collection, which includes the unique collection objects from the Kunstkammer.
