Livery of a Jockey on a White Horse à la Daumont
Vorreiter waren Jockeys, die vor der Equipage ritten und ursprünglich die Aufgabe hatten, dieser den Weg frei zu halten. Der hier gezeigte Vorreiter-Rock aus schwarzem Tuch mit reich applizierten Goldborten wurde vom Leibkutscher und Leibpostillon Franz Hengge (1837(?)-1904) getragen, der von 1885 bis 1898 im Dienst der Kaiserin Elisabeth stand.
