
Please register your group's visit without a guided tour at least 5 working days before the desired date.
If you book a group visit, the admission tickets for your visit will be reserved and you will receive a booking confirmation.
Group sizes are limited to a maximum of 25 people in all our exhibitions.
Groups of 10 people or more must be registered.
Depending on how busy the museum is, larger groups will be divided up for admission and enter the exhibitions or special exhibitions at different times.
Admission to our exhibitions is free for children.
Free admission for 1 accompanying person per 5 children. Free admission for required integration companions.
Reservation of a visit is free of charge. Guided tours or workshops are subject to a charge.
The collective cloakroom is available for children's and youth groups. You will receive the key at the information desk. ID and a telephone number must be provided.
Lockers are also available for storage.
For security reasons, jackets and bags may not be taken into the collections.
The Kunsthistorisches Museum is also a great place to find inspiration for drawing lessons.
You can draw with pencils and coloured pencils in the various galleries. Please use a safe surface (e.g. clipboard).

The guided tours are individually tailored to the age and level of knowledge of the children: Kindergarten groups are introduced to art in a playful way.

Visits to the Egyptian and Near Eastern Collection are only possible as part of a booked guided tour: This policy applies during October, November, December, the period between Christmas and the semester break, and June, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
